Valuation Office Agency (VOA)
The government agency that sets rateable values for business rates.
The Valuation Office Agency, part of HMRC, sets and maintains the rateable values used for business rates in England and Wales. Your council issues and collects the bill, but the VOA decides the value it's based on.
