Retail, Hospitality & Leisure (RHL) business rates relief
RHL relief charges qualifying retail, hospitality and leisure properties under £51,000 rateable value on a reduced multiplier of 38.2p in the pound, instead of the standard 48.0p.
Retail, Hospitality & Leisure premises with a rateable value under £51,000 should be charged on the lower RHL multiplier (38.2p) rather than the standard 48.0p. On a £30,000 rateable value that difference alone is nearly £3,000 a year, and it's one of the most common billing errors we see.
